Massachusetts just introduced a bill in its legislature to force God out of the home.

“Parents who spank their kids - even in their own homes - would be slapped by the long arm of the law under an Arlington nurse’s proposal to make Massachusetts the first state in the nation to outlaw corporal punishment.

If signed into law, parents would be prohibited from forcefully laying a hand on any child under age 18 unless it was to wrest them from danger, lest they be charged with abuse or neglect.

Rep. Jay Kaufman, a Lexington Democrat, submitted the 61-year-old Wolf’s petition at her request, but is not taking a position for or against corporal punishment.

“He does recognize and understand the concern many would have on legislating parental rights,” said Sean Fitzgerald, Kaufman’s chief of staff, “but the problem is the boundary is often overstepped. The right to hit should never be the right to hurt.”

Charles Enloe, 45, of Plymouth, knows a little something about that. In 2005, he was infamously arrested and charged with assault with a dangerous weapon for taking a belt to his then 12-year-old son during an argument over homework.

The charges were later dropped and Enloe told the Herald yesterday the experience “didn’t change my views at all. I believe discipline starts at home. Are they going to start legislating that you can’t raise your voice to your kids? That you can’t tell them when to go to bed? We’ll be communists then.”

California tried to do the same thing earlier this year.

In January Assemblywoman Sally Lieber introduced a bill in the California legislature to ban the spanking of children younger than four years of age. The punishment was a year in jail and a thousand dollar fine.

"Young children can't run or speak for themselves. They are sitting ducks for abuse," Lieber said.

Gov. Schwarzenegger voiced support for the bill. Although the Governor recalled being hit by his father, -- notice how he said “hit” instead of “spank” or “discipline” -- Schwarznegger said that he and his wife, Maria Shriver, did not practice spanking and preferred other methods of discipline, like threatening to take away playtime. "I think any time we try to pass laws that say you've got to protect the kids, it's, in general, always good,” the liberal politician said.

There was much opposition to that bill in California, so Lieber withdrew it. There was great publicity and big headlines about Lieber withdrawing the bill against spanking. Then she introduced another bill which did the same thing, but did not use the word “spanking.” This next bill, instead of banning spanking, banned the use of force in disciplining a child. The headlines did not cover that nearly so much.

However, Lieber and Schwarzenegger were not able to get enough support for their bill to make it law.

Lieber, like a number of liberals, does not have children and is past the child bearing age, yet she presumes that she knows more about how to raise them than all the people who do have children. Lieber is a strong supporter of abortion and of the public schools.

It is already illegal for parents to spank their children in Austria, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Israel, Latvia, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, Romania, Sweden and the Ukraine.

In 1979, Sweden became the first country in the world to ban spanking. Anders Erickson, spokesman for the Embassy of Sweden in Washington, D.C., said “There are other ways and means to bring up children than to beat them,” Erickson said. “Much better ways.”

An ombudsman is available to children in Sweden to report allegations of corporal punishment. Parents face jail time if it’s found they’ve stepped out of line.

Sweden also bans speaking against homosexuality and has prosecuted ministers for preaching from the Bible.

A New Zealand man has been sentenced to nine months supervision for spanking his 8-year-old son. The father pleaded guilty to assault under a new law that allows parents to be convicted of using even “reasonable” physical punishment. The father spanked the boy three times on the rear end in late October after he was told the 8-year-old had been unruly in school. He spanked him hard enough to cause a bruise and the mother took a picture that was given to police.

What California and Massachusetts are trying to do is ban the Bible from the home. When they seek to ban spanking from the home, they are seeking to ban the Bible from the home.

The liberals say that it is wrong to spank children. This is what God says in the Bible about spanking children.

Psa 51:5, MKJV

(5) Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity, and in sin did my mother conceive me.

David wrote that after he had sinned with Bathsheba and after he had received his spanking from Yahweh. David’s spanking was that the child born from him and Bathsheba would die and that the sword would never depart from David’s house. That was quite a spanking. Yahweh did it because He loved David and wanted David to never forget the lesson of his adultery.

David said that he was brought forth in iniquity and conceived in sin. His nature of itself was sinful and destructive, as is the nature of all humans.

Godless liberals have the opposite view. They believe that humans are basically good, and that if you indulge them enough, their goodness will ultimately prevail. Their religion teaches that if you don’t spank a kid, he will turn out good, and that if you do spank him, he will turn out bad. That is the perfect opposite of what God says.

(24) He who spares his rod hates his son, but he who loves him chastens him early.

(18) Chasten your son while there is hope, and do not set your soul on making him die.

(15) Foolishness is bound in the heart of a child; but the rod of correction shall drive it far from him.

(13) Withhold not correction from the child: for if thou beatest him with the rod, he shall not die.

(14) Thou shalt beat him with the rod, and shalt deliver his soul from hell.

Pro 29:15-17, KJV

(15) The rod and reproof give wisdom: but a child left to himself bringeth his mother to shame.

(17) Correct thy son, and he shall give thee rest; yea, he shall give delight unto thy soul.

That is what God says about spanking. The liberals hate that. They seek to ban it – and God and the Bible -- from your home. They are protecting your children from you. If you spank your child, as God commands, they think you are a criminal who should be prosecuted.

At this point in the US, the radical left wing does not have much support for this, but they’re working on it. In the 1960s more than half of Swedes support spanking. By the 1990s, that number was less than 10 percent. They have been educated that way – to be Godless -- by the government school system. In America these anti-God movements begin in California and New England, and then work their way across the country.

All of these liberal crusades – abortion, euthanasia, women’s lib, homosexuality, animal rights, no spanking – is all part of a Godless, anti-Christ, ban the Bible package. It is a deception from the father of lies that is sweeping the western world, which is susceptible to that message because of its affluence and self indulgence.

The liberal life is a life of destruction and death. Look at how miserable it is.

Abortion is cutting up babies.

Euthanasia is killing old folks.

Women’s lib is breaking up families. Women’s lib includes the freedom of adultery, which brings mental misery and disease.

Homosexuality is the lifestyle of death, forty and out.

Animal rights is substituting dogs, like those who licked up Jezebel’s blood, for kids.

And not spanking children is the sure path to conflict between kids and parents, and setting the children off on the road to destruction in life.

No wonder Lieber and the liberals don’t tend to have children. They can’t stand them. So they put the undisciplined kids on Ritalin. Now that is abuse and absolutely should be outlawed. All across the country there has been an explosion in giving kids drugs to control them. This is done not only in the left wing schools, but also more and more parents are drugging their kids at home. Since this is now acceptable child rearing practice, doctors routinely give parents prescriptions for child controlling drugs as a matter of course. It is estimated that five million school kids in the US are given mind controlling drugs. That’s about twice the number of homeschoolers in the US.

That typifies the difference right there. Christian homeschool families give their children time and training. Liberals give their kids drugs.

The liberal way is the way of death and destruction. But the liberal message, which is the deception of Satan, is so prevalent that more and more people buy it. Many Christians absorb the liberal dogma, while thinking they’re being Christian about it. Even though the liberal way is the way of death, cutting up babies, killing old folks, spreading AIDS, etc., they say that their way is the way of love. They cut up babies to spare them from not being loved later. They kill old folks to spare them pain. They don’t spank kids because they love them so much.

The New Testament speaks of how God spanks His own children.

Heb 12:4-11, MKJV

(4) You have not yet resisted unto blood, striving against sin.

(5) And you have forgotten the exhortation which speaks to you as to sons, "My son, despise not the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when you are rebuked by Him;

(6) for whom the Lord loves He chastens, and He scourges every son whom He receives."

(7) If you endure chastening, God deals with you as with sons, for what son is he whom the father does not chasten?

(8) But if you are without chastisement, of which all are partakers, then you are bastards and not sons.

(9) Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh who corrected us, and we gave them reverence. Shall we not much rather be in subjection to the Father of spirits and live?

(10) For truly they chastened us for a few days according to their own pleasure, but He for our profit, that we might be partakers of His holiness.

(11) Now chastening for the present does not seem to be joyous, but grievous. Nevertheless afterward it yields the peaceable fruit of righteousness to those who are exercised by it.

God chastens His children, rebukes them and even scourges them. That which he tells parents to do in Proverbs He does Himself. On the other hand, what is the mind of Satan like? Satan hates to be condemned and corrected. He wants to be indulged. No matter what he does, he does not want to feel bad. He demands to be accepted, with all his bad behavior.

So the liberals are concerned about the children and are trying to make it illegal for conservative Christians to raise their children as God commands them to in the Bible. Yet who is it that is most likely to beat, injure and kill children? Who is it? Can you guess? It is co-habiters -- shackuppers, liberals who live together without marriage. They are much more likely to abuse the kids they have in their homes.

The liberals have kicked God out of the schools. By no means will they stop there. They will try to kick God out of every home in America. They will attempt to ban spanking and ultimately the very teaching of the Bible itself. They will label child abuse, raising the child in a radical religion. They use the public schools to indoctrinate enough people to get that done. Anyone who supports the public schools in any way is helping them do that.
